The Marine Gallery, Meerbusch, Germany Heiko Falk As member of the experts' team of THE MARINE GALLERY he is responsible for the design of fully handmade bases & cases for existing ship models. Heiko Falk was born in Schwerte/Germany, in 1942. He studied Design at the famous Folkwangschule für Gestaltung and started his business career with a diploma in Industrial Design in 1970. Having performed various design projects in two decades - ranking from small and simple items as wineglasses to large and complex works as motoryachts - he entered the Internet industry in the 90th's, co-founding and hereafter co-managing a successful web design agency. Besides this job Heiko Falk established a collection of ship models and turned this private activity - by founding THE MARINE GALLERY- into a commercial full-time one after having retired from the agency's board at the end of 2001. Today Heiko Falk is "back to the roots" - designing highly attractive bases and cases for ship models.
